In other news, Freya's been sitting up to play, and she can stand when holding on to the edge of something. She's not quite rolling yet, but occasionally there's a bit of movement from one side to the other. She can stand on her hands and knees, but she doesn't go anywhere yet. Right now we've taken her off solid foods because it's giving her intestinal stress. Probably because we fed her too much too fast. But she wanted to eat everything in sight! She takes so well to food and she wanted everything she looked at, so we just went with it. Probably too much at once though.
Week 2 has started for us and we're starting to feel the full swing of things. Alyssa still only needs to compose this term, but she has a lot going on. Two concerts, some recording sessions, finals, a recital..... there's a lot on her plate. For me, it's the age-old battle of balancing the work-load from each class. I'm in a particularly advanced seminar course right now which requires the reading of articles which are only available through reserve at the library. This means I have to actually be at the library to read (rather than the convenience of being at home, or anywhere else with a checked out or purchased book) and it's proving difficult to find the right times (both when and amount).
Fortunately, one of my classmates is willing to study Latin with me every day before class starts, so I'm about to head there right now.....
