Movin' along

Lately Freya's favorite thing to do is stand up at things. She gets really mad if we just sit her down to play, she wants to stand. When she does tolerate being on the floor, she just moves right along. Not quite at a full crawl yet, but she's still pretty fast.

We've sorta switched gears with how we discipline/instruct Odin. We more often tell us what we want or what we don't like and ask him to stop. We're also making it really clear what the outcome of his behavior will be before he even does anything so that he knows and we don't just suddenly punish him for something he had no idea was bad. It's started working a bit, I expect we'll see more progress in a few weeks.

Good news for the Summer, for me anyway. I'll be in one class in week 0 from 9am to 6pm but it'll be only a week and it's super fun, and then one for the first third of Summer for 2 hours a day, and then I actually get to have a summer off for once because I don't have any more classes until Fall. Alyssa's classes keep her a bit more busy, but they shouldn't be hard. In the Fall she'll have her last classes and graduate at the end of Fall, I'm really excited for her. She's also going to have her professional musician website up in a few weeks. I'll be sure to add a link.
